FSC Certification Mark Guide
The FSC certification mark helps customers recognize products made with responsibly managed forest resources and verified chain-of-custody controls. SINWOO reviews the product scope, sales country, wording, and print conditions before providing a suitable FSC label file.
Request FSC mark use through your sales representative
FSC label selection depends on the product, material, sales country, and placement. Instead of downloading and editing FSC marks yourself, please share the request details with your SINWOO sales representative so the file can be checked and provided through the proper internal approval process.
- Product name and area of use: product, packaging, manual, promotional material, etc.
- Sales or distribution country: trademark symbol and language selection check
- Preferred label type: standard label, QR label, or promotional logo
- Planned print size and background color: legibility, clear space, and contrast check

Before Using FSC Marks
This is a customer-facing summary of the FSC-STD-50-001 V3-0 trademark standard effective from July 1, 2026.
Use official generated labels
FSC product labels and promotional panels should be based on official designs generated through the FSC Brand Hub. SINWOO provides a suitable file according to the request conditions.
Standard and QR labels are different
Products may use a standard FSC label or an FSC QR label. For QR labels, scan readability, flat placement, and sufficient clear space are especially important.
Trademark symbols depend on sales country
The registered trademark or trademark symbol for FSC, Forest Stewardship Council, the logo, and labels is checked based on the country of sale or distribution.
Do not make unrelated claims
FSC certification must not appear to guarantee product quality, manufacturer endorsement, or unrelated environmental claims. Any statement outside the certification scope must be checked separately.
Recheck changed wording
If label wording, product type, color, size, or placement changes, it may differ from a previously approved use and should be checked again.
Keep approval records
Trademark approval records and related files are kept for audits and repeat-order checks. We also confirm whether a request is a simple reprint of a previously approved use.
Basic Design Rules
Final decisions follow the official generated file and approval criteria. The figures below summarize core graphic rules under the current FSC V3-0 standard.
Minimum size
- FSC standard label: portrait width at least 8 mm; landscape height at least 5 mm
- FSC logo and logo inside promotional panel: height at least 4 mm
- FSC QR label: portrait width at least 12 mm; landscape height at least 15 mm
Legibility and placement
- All required label elements must remain readable.
- The background must provide sufficient contrast, and transparent backgrounds must not reduce legibility.
- Keep clear space so surrounding images or text do not overlap or appear attached to the mark.

The archived Annex table has been summarized for easier customer understanding. Final symbol selection should follow the sales country and official generated file.
